Taï Chi Chuan

Body Autonomy Technique - Art and Movement

This traditional Chinese art, whose existence dates back thousands of years, has been considered, since time immemorial, by China and most of Asia, as a preventive health technique practiced and experienced in silence, with conscious slowness, with attention focused on oneself, integrated with vigilance towards one's environment, and listening to one's breath. It is performed through a fluid sequence of precise and rhythmic movements, harmonious and sober like a dance, involving balanced postures, respecting your rhythm, allowing you to pace yourself and, ultimately, refocus your inner balance. Faced with all eventualities, following diligent and long-term practice, and without relying on the time available, nor hoping to attain any power whatsoever.

It is a gentle and energetic exercise, consisting of a series of rounded, supple movements, performed with a slowness that initially seems difficult to master, but later becomes conscious and fluid, thanks to a logical, even initiatory flow of precise gestures combined with an attention to our deep breathing, finally rediscovered.

Faced with all eventualities, following diligent and long-term practice, and without relying on the time available, nor hoping to achieve any power whatsoever.

Little by little, gently, the regular practice of Tai Chi Chuan purifies and balances the blood Chi in the organs, improves all the vital functions of the "Wu-Tang" body, and mobilizes and softens without harming all our joints.
